"Ponder", The Artful Hare Project

Created 2018

Like previous projects such as Art in the Sunshine (2007) and Glyph Project (2017), this earthwork builds on Hodge’s commitment to intersect art with the general public in their day-to-day lives. A sign at the public sidewalk identifies the art and provides its specifications. Thousands of visitors have enjoyed taking photographs with Ponder, and he was highlighted on the scavenger hunt competition of the famous JEEP BEACH EVENT in the Daytona Beach area, 2023.

Survey Closed 2017

This project was a study on the meaning of colors and symbols in our blended western society. Do we believe as our ancestors did or are we developing a new way.....It began with a survey and conclude with several reports.

Art in the Sunshine Project Completed April 2007

More than 100 artists created over 300 works of art which were then exhibited on 20 miles of roadway for 3 months.
